BEHRINGER EP2500 POWER AMP: Musical Power For The Entire NightThe Behringer EP2500 is an extremely musical power amplifier that can take a whole night's worth of abuse without missing a beat ? even at 2 ohms! This amp is a dependable workhorse that will never let you down. You get enough real-world watts to get you through the roughest gigs: 2 x 1200 watts into 2 ohms or 2400 watts into 4 ohms bridged mono operation. Experience has probably taught you that there is nothing worse than when your amp runs out of breath. With the EP2500 you're covered all the way. From the deepest bass all the way up to the most subtle highs, you will be amazed at the clarity and richness of sound. This kind of multi-faceted performance was previously possible only with amps costing hundreds more. The EP2500 meets the needs of professional musicians for both installed and touring applications. No corners were cut in the design process. You can rest assured that these are tough reliable amps built to last. Each EP Series amp has a massive power supply with a low-noise toroidal transformer and lots of headroom, so your music always sounds great ? even when you push the amp to the limit! Add an extremely effective cooling system and you have an amp that is guaranteed to be trouble-free. Further underscoring Behringer's commitment to excellence, they've used only high-quality, high-speed FAIRCHILD and TOSHIBA transistors.Features:750 watts at 4 ohms (per channel)500 watts at 8 ohms (per channel)1200 watts at 2 ohms (per channel)2400 watts bridged mono at 4 ohms2-channel, parallel or bridged mono operating modes for flexible applicationIndependent limiters for each channel offer dependable protection against distortionPrecise signal and clip LED indicators to monitor performanceSelectable low-frequency filters (30Hz or 50Hz) remove distracting infra-sound frequenciesProfessional SPEAKON and "touch-proof" binding post loudspeaker outputs enable secure operationBalanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputsConnection option for extra amps in parallel operationUltra-reliable TOSHIBA/FAIRCHILD high-power transistorsHigh-quality components and exceptionally rugged construction for long life and durabilityHigh-current toroidal transformer for absolute reliability and lowest noise emission"Back-to-front" ventilation system including air filter with automatically adjusting fan speed for smooth operationIndependent DC and thermal overload protection on each channel automatically protects amplifier and speakersManufactured under ISO9000 certified management system

Behringer has created a powerful and reliable product with the EP2500. I run two for my front of house rig and there is plenty of power to spare. There a little heavy but that's why man created wheels. I plan on buying two more so I can bridge two per side and really blow you away.....

I have 2 amps. One made by QSC which cost about $[...] and I have this amp which cost around $[...] when I bought it. This amp had more power and sounded better than my other more expensive amp... Get a BEHRINGER Amp... Its worth the money!! And it has never broken on me either!
